History
Sharon is a typical baby boomer that spent her adult life working as a stay at home Mom and then later as a bookkeeper. After leaving the corporate world she started taking riding lessons with Darcy Miller of Blue Goose Stable and it was an instant love. On her birthday her husband surprised her with her first horse and as we say, the rest is history.
Once you own your own horse you realize the expense of having a horse, so Sharon decided to become an equine massage therapist to cover part of the expenses. Along that journey she met some great instructors such as Melanie Wilson of Advantassage and Mike Scott of Equine Massage/Muscle Therapy. While working as a massage therapist Sharon became concerned as she was finding so many horses with sore backs. After consulting with Mike Scott about her findings she decided to become a saddle fitter. After completing Mike's Saddle Fit course she met Jochen Schleese of Schleese Saddles and was so impressed with his Saddle Fit 4 Life program, that she took his course.
Sharon lives in Florida with her husband and loves spending time with her son, daughter in law and grandson. She works as an equine massage therapist and saddle fitter. Sharon is an independent saddle fitter, but is an authorized dealer for Bliss of London and D P Saddlery. She is also a dealer for Thinline saddle pads, boots and tack.
